From April 25-26, 2024, the first training course in a series of training sessions for administrators, users, and employees of the Ministry of National Defense was held in Krakow at the training and information center. The course focused on the operation and use of the information system in daily work, including editing, updating, and adding new entries and attributes to the system's database. The database is one of the tasks carried out within the LIFE21-GIE-PL-INF-ARMY project.
On March 7, 2024, the second meeting of the INF ARMY Steering Committee was held in Krakow.
Project progress on "Supporting military land users in Natura 2000 area management" was presented to the Committee members, and the progress of the database creation was discussed in detail.
The project manager informed the participants about the tasks that remain to be completed before the project is finalized.
On March 6, 2024, a course titled "Ecological Safety" was held at the Polish War University in Rembertów, Poland.

The meeting of the Chief of Infrastructure of the Armed Forces Support Inspectorate - Bydgoszcz, held from January 30th to February 1st, 2024, was another event in which the INF ARMY team had the pleasure to participate. In the panel dedicated to environmental protection representatives, Ms. Katarzyna Kępa, the Manager, provided insights into the ecological activities within the Ministry of National Defense and the acquisition of funds for this purpose.
On January 11, 2024, we participated in the LIFE Information Days organized by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Warsaw. It was a unique opportunity to learn about the possibilities offered by the LIFE Program and LIFE projects implemented in Poland. The event showcased the results of 15 years of NFOÅšiGW's involvement in supporting LIFE projects in Poland. As always, our exhibition stand was present, promoting our completed LIFE12 NAT/PL/000031 project and our current project 101074108-LIFE21-GIE-PL-INF-ARMY.

The INF ARMY team participated in the annual Eurosite meeting held from November 7-9, 2023, in Amiens, France. The event included workshops focused on military areas, aiming to facilitate the exchange of experiences among managers of military areas in the field of nature conservation. This encompassed Natura 2000 areas and other protected zones, promoting the exchange of knowledge on best practices, monitoring tools, cooperation with civilian authorities, and other activities for the protection and restoration of natural habitats and education.
On November 15, 2023, the INF ARMY team participated in a training and coordination briefing organized by the Ministry of National Defense's Infrastructure Department in Kościelisko. In the panel dedicated to environmental protection representatives and invited guests from outside the ministry, the project team presented the progress of the LIFE INF ARMY project in a delivered presentation. The tasks being implemented and those planned for implementation were discussed.
The final nature workshop under task T.2.3 took place at the Błędowska Desert Training Ground on October 23, 2023. The Project Manager welcomed the participants, presenting the main goals and tasks of INF ARMY.
The Natura 2000 area PLH040041 Dunes of the Toruń Basin was the destination for the nature workshop on October 19, 2023. This area boasts one of the largest inland dune regions in Poland, perfectly representing the landscape of the training ground.
